Throughout my studies, I have consistently engaged in seasonal work and volunteer projects. These roles, ranging from agricultural logistics to manual house renovations and fast-food service, have built a strong work ethic, physical resilience, adaptability, and high efficiency under pressure. They represent my commitment to dedication, practical learning, and supporting collective efforts.
1. Grain Harvest Worker (Terrena)
Context & Environment
- Employer: Terrena (Agricultural Cooperative), Château-Gontier
- Role: Seasonal Logistics & Quality Operator
- Duration: June – July 2022 (2 months, intensive summer harvest season)
Key Responsibilities & Activities
- Seed Reception & Registration: Handled the reception of grain deliveries from local farmers, ensuring proper registration and load routing.
- Quality Control: Conducted moisture, density, and purity analysis of incoming seeds to classify and ensure the quality standards of received grains.
- Silo & Equipment Management: Performed regular maintenance, deep cleaning, and monitoring of storage silos and reception facilities to prevent contamination and maintain strict safety guidelines.
Core Insights
Working at an agricultural cooperative during the peak harvest season demands precise coordination, quick decision-making, and long hours of high concentration. I learned how to manage high-flow operations while maintaining strict quality controls, and collaborated closely with farmers and regular staff in a fast-moving logistics environment.
2. Family House Renovation & Estate Maintenance

- Project: Family Estate Renovation (Volunteer / Hands-on Project)
- Duration: Summers since 2020 (Continuous seasonal engagement)
Key Contributions & Technical Skills
- Structural Works & Deconstruction: Assisted with the removal of ancient slate roofs and old timber frameworks, ensuring safety and site cleanliness.
- Interior Insulation & Drywalling: Installed plasterboards (Placo) and glass wool insulation to upgrade thermal and acoustic standards.
- Masonry & Finishes: Gained experience in facade chipping, wall plastering, rendering, brickwork, and precise cornice installation.
- Estate Groundskeeping: Managed overall estate gardening, plant health assessment, and outdoor groundskeeping.
Core Insights
This long-term family project built practical problem-solving skills, manual dexterity, and a deep appreciation for architectural restoration. It required patience, attention to detail, and substantial physical effort, showing my ability to commit to a long-term project from initial deconstruction to fine finishing.
3. Versatile Team Member (McDonald’s)

Core Insights
My first professional experience taught me the principles of extreme speed, rigorous division of labor, and teamwork. Working in a high-intensity fast-food kitchen requires absolute stress tolerance, self-discipline, and seamless coordination with team members to deliver consistent quality in seconds.
