Overview
Before starting my advanced studies in biology and bioinformatics, I actively sought opportunities to explore professional healthcare fields, understand emergency response dynamics, and lead youth-focused civic associations. These early experiences nurtured my curiosity for medicine, my commitment to safety and public service, and my skills in administrative organization and community leadership.
1. Clinical Observation – Orthodontics

Key Observations & Insights
- Consultation & Treatment Workflows: Observed daily consultations, checking orthodontic appliance fittings, and explaining treatment steps to children and parents.
- Patient Relationship & Reassurance: Noticed how the practitioner established trust, managed patient anxiety, and kept children engaged and cooperative during adjustments.
- Dental Technology: Discovered orthodontic imaging, dental casting, and precise biomechanical adjustments used to guide tooth movement.
This early immersion provided my first direct contact with a specialized clinical environment, highlighting the blend of technical expertise and interpersonal psychology required in healthcare.
2. Fire Station Immersion

- Emergency Operations: Discovered the organizational structure of emergency response teams, morning equipment checks, and rapid intervention protocols.
- Daily Responder Routine: Shared discussions with professional and volunteer firefighters, learning about their training, motivations, and the physical and mental challenges of the job.
- Rescue Gear & Vehicles: Explored response vehicles (VSAV, FPT) and specialized rescue equipment.
This experience sparked a deep respect for first responders and a lasting interest in emergency care, medical rescue, and civic devotion.
3. PSC1 First Aid Certification

Gained Competencies
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) & AED: Learned to perform chest compressions and use an Automated External Defibrillator.
- Emergency Assessment & Alerts: Trained to assess a casualty’s state, secure the area, and deliver structured reports to emergency services.
- Basic Life Support Techniques: Practiced handling choking, heavy bleeding, unconsciousness, wounds, and burns.
This certification was my first active step in training to preserve life and protect others in critical moments, reinforcing the importance of basic medical responsiveness.
4. Secretary & Active Member (Junior Association)

This long-term role developed my organizational, administrative, and public relations skills, demonstrating my early commitment to civic engagement and peer support.
